Staples-Motley chamber's Festival of Trees will be offered Saturday
STAPLES - The Staples-Motley Area Chamber of Commerce is presenting the Festival of Trees from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the First International Bank and Trust Annex.
Proceeds benefit the '93 Lions Christmas for Kids. The Staples '93 Lions will provide hot cider and cookies. Trees are decorated by area businesses and organizations. The Festival of Trees was planned to be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but a lack of volunteers forced a reduced schedule.
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food shelf to receive a free voting chip, valued at $1 each.
