EXTRA CREDIT
The following were named Students of Excellence at Pequot Lakes Middle School: Colleen Tschida, Joey Tucker, sixth-graders; Ellie Erholtz, Isaac Allen, seventh-graders; Zach Northenscold and Marnie Goerges, eighth-graders. The award is presented to students who are role models outside the classroom and for exhibiting PRIDE (perseverance, respect, integrity, discipline and excellence).
Damon Billington, sixth-grader, Angela Cole, seventh-grader, and Josie Nistler, eighth-grader, were named Artists of the Quarter. They have shown great artistic skills and have had a positive attitude toward learning.
The following students were named to the Family of Christ Christian School honor roll: Danielle Conklin, fourth grade, Principal's List; Emily Breitling, eighth grade, Josh Jarmuzek, fourth grade, A honor roll; Kelsey Jensen, third grade, Emily Withers, sixth grade, Jordan Viotto, seventh grade, Erica Koehler, eighth grade, B honor roll.
The following were named Students of the Month for October: Makayla Bender, Olivia Dilley, MIkayla Schultz, Summer Mills, Olivia Osborne, Taylor Madsen, Jarrett Crandall, Gabrielle Speliopoulos, Eric Martin, Samantha Oswald, Andy Dillon, Devlin Fratzke, Anna Dillon, Jaeden Lindsey, Hunter Rohde, James Loveless, Katie Jobe, Justice Bowers, Alex Vukelich and Maddie Riley.
Rebecca Swanson, CNA, recently received a scholarship through Care Providers. Swanson works at Edgewood Vista while pursuing her degree in nursing from St. Cloud State. The scholarship is awarded to nursing students who plans to work in a long-term care setting after college and who shows excellence in caring for the elderly.
