Crow Wing sheriff
THEFTS - A $40 gas drive-off was reported Sunday at the Corner Store and More, 19079 Highway 18 in Nokay Lake Township.
A gas drive-off was reported Sunday at Holiday Station Store, 27390 Highway 169 in Garrison.
At 7:53 a.m. Sunday a woman called and stated her daughter left Saturday with her vehicle and hadn't returned it. A deputy met with the woman and took information. The woman later called back and located the vehicle behind her garage.
Shane Kruger, 10000 block of Highway 210, Friday reported the theft of a mini-bike.
Daniel Grady, 20000 block of Rudbeck Road, Friday reported the theft of a shotgun from his porch. The gun was returned before a deputy arrived.
SHOOTING COMPLAINT - A woman on the 30000 block of Long Farm Road in Ideal Township at 2:52 p.m. Sunday reported hearing a cannon and rapid gun fire in the marshes. She later called back and stated people were shooting at targets and wanted to see a deputy.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Kenneth Thommes, 20000 block of Kelly Lane in Roosevelt Township, Sunday reported someone started his newspaper box on fire.
Jack Sticha, 10000 block of Highway 210, Saturday reported someone keeps pulling up and damaging his no trespassing signs.
Jon Pulsifer, 10000 block of Crow Wing County Road 116, Saturday reported his neighbor cut up his Christmas lights.
Randy Nelson, 10000 block of Spencer Road, Friday reported damage to mailboxes.
Greg Jost, 10000 block of East Shore Drive, Friday reported damage to the screens and door on his cabin.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a crash at 4:49 a.m. Saturday at Crow Wing County Road 18 and Church Street in Nisswa.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 8:03 a.m. Friday at West Eagle Lake Road and Kego Lake Road.
No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle rollover at 7:58 a.m. Friday at Crow Wing County Roads 18 and 4.
Baxter police
SHOOTING COMPLAINT - Received a report of shooting at 8:37 a.m. Sunday at Ashdale Lane and Second Street. An officer located a man with a valid permit shooting squirrels in the neighborhood.
DISTURBANCE - Was dispatched at 9:58 p.m. Saturday to Walmart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road, for a report of a harassing communication. Upon arrival, officers found about 10 juveniles in the parking lot arguing with each other and causing a disturbance. All were advised to leave each other alone and be home before curfew.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a crash at 3:24 p.m. Saturday on the 10000 block of Edgewood Drive.
Brainerd police
THEFTS - James Demario, 1000 block of Oak Street, Sunday reported the theft of his son's video game counsel.
Ramona Billman, 700 block of Laurel Street, Saturday reported a handbag stolen.
Nathan Wickham on Saturday reported a license plate stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on the 600 block of Washington Street.
BURGLARIES - Gary Scheeler, Brainerd Country Power Equipment Inc., 13380 Highway 25, Sunday reported his business broken into.
It was reported Sunday a garage on the 1000 block of 13th Avenue Northeast was broken into.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Received a report at 5:34 p.m. Saturday from a man who said two people had just broken into his house. Officers found no signs of entry, walked through the house with the man and found nothing missing. The complaint was unfounded. The man admitted being under the influence and could have been hallucinating.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - A woman called at 5:33 a.m. Saturday from the 700 block of South Ninth Street to report a friend asked her to drive him to St. Cloud and when she refused he took a pot off the stove, ran outside and broke out the back window of her vehicle. The man then ran away and officers were unable to locate him.
Allen Wambeke on Friday reported someone broke out a tail light on his vehicle while it was it was parked at the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St.
Ashley Laskowski, 2000 block of Hillcrest Drive, Friday reported the mirrors and wiper blades on her vehicle were damaged.
ARRESTS - At 12:29 a.m. Saturday an officer attempted to stop a vehicle on the 500 block of Washington Street. The driver refused to stop and drove to the 600 block of Southwest Sixth Street, where he pulled into an apartment building parking lot. The 23-year-old man was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, careless driving, felony probation violation out of Stearns County and driving after license revocation. Four passengers were released at the scene. The vehicle is being held for forfeiture.
At 1:26 a.m. Friday an officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old man for driving after revocation. The man drove erratically for about three blocks in an apparent attempt to elude the officers. The vehicle was stopped on the 700 block of South Eighth Street and the man was arrested for second-degree DWI, second-degree refusal to test, driving after license revocation, possession of a small amount of marijuana greater than 1.4 grams in a motor vehicle, no proof of insurance and probation violation.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 1:33 p.m. Friday on the 500 block of Oak Street.
Staples police
HARASSMENT - A man went to the police department at 11:15 a.m. Monday to report his ex-girlfriend, her sister and another man were harassing him. The officer was unable to locate the suspects to warn them to stay away from the man, but police did serve a subpoena on the man while he was at the police department.
DISTURBANCE - At 9:50 p.m. on Saturday officers were dispatched to an apartment on the 500 block of Warner Road for a disturbance involving people arguing outside the apartment. Officers made contact with several people and issued five minor in consumption of alcohol citations.
