The Brainerd Moose Lodge will have its 29th annual free Thanksgiving Day dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Brainerd Moose Family Center, 219 S. Ninth St., Brainerd. Reservations are requested by calling 829-4841. Meals can be delivered to those who can't come to the Moose. Anyone interested in donating a pie or to volunteer that day, call the Moose Lodge to sign up.
Faith Lutheran Church, 430 12th St. N.E., Staples, is hosting the fifth annual free community Thanksgiving dinner at noon Thursday. Reservations are not necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. However, those planning on attending can make reservations by calling the church at (218) 894-1546 or Mary at (218) 894-2594.
The members of Grace United Methodist Church invite the folks of the Pequot Lakes community and beyond to join them in a traditional Thanksgiving dinner serving from noon until 2:30, or until the food is gone, on Thursday.
There will be no charge.
Reservations are not required, but those who plan on attending are encouraged to call (218) 568-5755. Transportation is provided for those who need it.
The church is 1.7 miles south of the Pequot Lakes stoplight on Highway 371.
