Crosslake public hearing

CROSSLAKE - The Crosslake City Council plans to meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at city hall for a public hearing to consider an ordinance amendment naming unnamed roads within the city and adding previously named roads to the master road name index.
The road names to be added are Eva Lane, Kallberg Road, Ox Cove Trail and Pleasant View. Existing roads to be added to the index are: Allen Avenue, Andersen Drive, Antler Road, Aspen Drive, Bacon Lane, Bald Eagle Trail, Cabin Cove Trail, Dancing Bear Drive, Duckwood Trail, Gordon Circle, Gould Street, Industrial Road, Lilypad Road, Loveland Harbor, Ostlund Avenue, Riverwood Court, Rush Harbor Lane, Scenic Court, Talon Trail, Vista Drive and Wild Wind Ranch Drive.
Brainerd School Facilities Committee to meet
The Brainerd School Board Facilities Committee will meet at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 4 in room No. 13 at the Lincoln Education Center Building, 604 S. Sixth St., Brainerd.
The committee will tour the Lincoln Education Center; review planned facilities projects; forecast future facilities needs and special projects; and review space availability at elementary buildings and Forestview Middle School.
Drop box available
PEQUOT LAKES - The Operation Iraqi Freedom, Multi-National Corps-Iraq Command Chaplain, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Pequot Lakes-Breezy Point Lions Club for its donation to the Hearts for Baghdad program.
As a continuing supporter of this endeavor, the Pequot Lakes-Breezy Point Lions Club will be making a drop box available during the "Santa's Bobbin' into Town" celebration on Saturday at Silver Creek Traders. Items needed are school supplies and first-aid kits. The drop box will be available at the Pequot Lakes Chamber office until Dec. 18.
