Ron Stolski, Brainerd High School football coach and athletic director, has been selected as a recipient of a National Federation of State High School Association's citation. The six high school athletic directors chosen will be presented with their awards in Las Vegas, Nev., on Dec. 13.

Running back Rick Hansen of Brainerd and defensive back Mark Selisker of Crosby-Ironton are two of the high school football players from Minnesota named to the WCCO Radio 1978 All-State Team of the Year.

Christmas tree cuttings in the Brainerd forestry district totaled 2,700 today, 500 more than were cut at this time a year ago. After deer season it is expected that many more trees will be cut.
