4 injured in collision ACCIDENT
WALKER - Four people were injured in a three-vehicle, broadside collision about 3 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 371, at Highway 200 south of Walker, the State Patrol reported.
The driver of one vehicle, Cynthia M. Morin, 46, Wahpeton, N.D., was making a left turn from a frontage road onto Highway 371 when the vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Allan L. Westphal, 23, Pine River.
Morin's feet were pinned upon impact, the State Patrol reported, with one foot still on the accelerator, and the vehicle went through a ditch, struck a sign and collided with a parked vehicle across the road.
Morin and one passenger, Brent Morin, 20, Wahpeton, N.D., were treated at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids and released.
A second passenger, Joseph Morin, 72, suffered a broken pelvis and fractured ribs and was transported to MeritCare hospital in Fargo, N.D.
Westphal was treated at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids and released.
The parked vehicle was unoccupied.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department assisted.
