Nisswa starts a Caring 'n Giving Tree
NISSWA - With the holidays approaching, the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce office is the site of the Caring 'n Giving Tree.
The tree is set up in the chamber's office to welcome donations of gloves/mittens and hats for adults and/or children. Bring your donation unwrapped to the Nisswa Chamber building, at 25532 Main St., Nisswa.
The Women's Center of Mid-Minnesota Brainerd will be the recipient of the gifts this season. The Women's Center is a safe refuge for women and their children.
Donations are requested at the Nisswa Chamber no later than Dec. 15. For more information, call 963-2620.
