Cass County partnership collects old cell phones for emergency use
The Cass County Triad, a partnership of law enforcement, seniors and community groups, is seeking community cell phone donations in conjunction with its partnership with the 911 Cell Phone Bank.

Residents and businesses that have unused cell phones are urged to drop them off at the Hackensack Co-op, banks in Hackensack, the Longville One-Stop and the sheriff's office. Triad members can also accept the donated phones.

More information may be obtained by calling Pauline Fahey at 547-7308.

Through this program the sheriff's office collects used cell phones that are sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing, valuation and re-marketing. In return the 911 Cell Phone Bank provides the county with free emergency cell phones as well as the cash value of the collected phones.
