LOCAL BRIEFS Ministerial meeting
The Brainerd Area Ministerial Association will have its annual Christmas gathering at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd. There will be a light lunch and fellowship with Advent and Christmas carols. All area clergy and their spouses are invited to attend.

Snow removal set
The Brainerd Street Department will remove snow Wednesday morning on Oak Street from South Sixth Street to Highway 25 and also on South Eighth Street from Washington Street to Quince Street.
Snow removal will begin at 4 a.m. Wednesday until the removal is complete.
Parking is banned on those streets during the snow removal process. All vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
