Where do elementary students go to school?
Brainerd School District Transportation Coordinator Kala Henkensiefken provided parents at Thursday's elementary listening session with information about the current and proposed school attendance boundaries.
The three proposed attendance boundary scenarios showed how only anywhere from 44 percent to 47 percent of students would remain in their current school next fall.
The following is a look at where the district's elementary students currently live and where they now attend school:
Baxter School
601 total students live within the attendance boundary.
510 students attend Baxter School.
123 of these students live outside the attendance boundary.
387 of these students live within the attendance boundary.
Garfield School
278 students live within the attendance boundary.
357 students attend Garfield School.
223 of these students live outside the attendance boundary.
131 of these students live within the attendance boundary.
Harrison School
394 students live within the attendance boundary.
251 students attend Harrison School.
101 of these students live outside the attendance boundary.
150 of these students live within the attendance boundary.
Lincoln School
456 students live within the attendance boundary.
247 students attend Lincoln School.
120 of these students live outside the attendance boundary.

Lowell School
225 students live within the attendance boundary.
