The city of Brainerd has postposed issuing long grass notification letters as well as citations through May 30, city officials reported in a news release Monday. "This will give the community an opportunity to get caught up with mowing that will be much needed as a result of the recent rains and the coming warmer weather," the city's news release stated. The Brainerd High School Theatre Department will perform the classic musical “Hello, Dolly” at 7 p.m. May 11-13 at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd. There are about 65 students in ninth through 12th grade in the play.
