A portion of Little Buffalo Creek flows near Joseph Street in Brainerd, after its bank stabilization project. As part of the project, a culvert was removed, the stream was realigned and the flood plain was restored. The surrounding area was seeded and planted with native flowers, sedges, shrubs and trees for long-term resilience.
