Reader Opinion: Bogus claims not OK
The Aug. 14 "Time is short" letter says: "... sustainability necessarily requires less coal and more solar and wind, here and around the world." Apparently we have manufactured a bogus crisis that says burning coal creates CO2, which thereby causes global warming.

Reader Opinion: CO2 is not pollution
The Aug. 5 Reader Opinion letter "Save Earth from pollution' says "Fossil fuels do not contain carbon isotopes, which gives it a distinctly different fingerprint now measurable in our (CO2) polluted atmosphere. Most of the pollution (CO2) is ours." So how much CO2 is ours? In my Aug....

Reader Opinion: Save Earth from pollution
The Aug. 2 letter, "A drop in the bucket," is so outdated. Does anyone actually still think climate change is not caused by us? SCOTUS found CO2 a pollutant in 2007, hence the regulations limiting it. NOAA scientists proved that fossil fuels do not contain carbon isotopes, which gives...

Reader Opinion: A drop in the bucket
The July 22 "Climate disruption' letter complains of a 20PPM rise in atmospheric CO2. And "not enough people have worked to save Earth."

Reader Opinion: Kicking into overdrive
Just when it seemed bad that 2015 surpassed the old warmest year on record of 2014, NASA just confirmed February far surpassed January 2016 as the most unusually warm month ever measured. Curiously, Harvard researchers in March 2016 published findings of a 30 percent spike in atmospheric...

Reader Opinion: Look to the Bible
Many people are accepting predictions by our current scientists that the earth is in danger of flooding in the future because of global warming. The latest statistic is 0.8 degrees warming. Genesis records a worldwide flood in Noah's day that was sent by God because of the sinfulness...

Reader Opinion: Greenhouse gases
The author of the April 7 letter, "Wrong facts on climate," objects to my using the term "heat carrying capacity" in my March 31 letter. He says: "It turns out carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases don't heat the planet because they have a large 'heat carrying capacity.' Rather,...

Reader Opinion: CO2 has no effect on climate
In the March 16 letter "Climate funding exposed" the author says: "Seven billion people burning things everyday have doubled the concentration of a main component of the atmosphere, CO2." Maybe, maybe not, but man's CO2 contribution still has no effect on climate. It's a hoax.

The cringing professor (Cringe-worthy June 27) objects to my statement that CO2 doesn't cause asthma and heart attacks. He cites dangers from mold, pollen, and ozone which have nothing to do with CO2. So keep drinking that Coca-Cola; you may gain weight but you won't get asthma from...

CO2 isn’t all bad
The EPA has released the Obama administration’s new plan to limit U.S. power plant carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The president is suggesting that his plan would provide better health, especially for children and the elderly who suffer from asthma and other related breathing ailments....
