To raise awareness, Explore Minnesota is using social media and created the hashtag #OnlyinMN to note what the state has that no one else does, from the headwaters of the Mississippi River to the Guthrie Theater.
Gov. Mark Dayton and the Legislature expanded the state's tourism budget by 67 percent, creating new opportunities to reach out farther. The Only in Minnesota campaign is going out to 14 states and Canadian provinces.
