Nancy and Jim Grant, owners of Jim’s Electric and 10-year sponsors of the Sertoma Winter Wonderland check lights Monday night in the Northland Arboretum. After a weekend of operation, crews worked Monday afternoon to repair broken or burned-out lights. A bald eagle named Maxime snatches food from handler Anna Voss while she presented the program Raptors of Minnesota Saturday during the 12th annual Family Education Program at the Northland Arboretum in Baxter. The audience at the event learned about four raptors brought from the University of Minnesota Raptor Center: a red-tailed hawk, an American kestrel, a great horned owl and a bald eagle.
