Brainerd's jobless rate drops to lowest number in seven years
Brainerd's jobless rate dropped to 8.1 percent in May, the lowest it's been in 78 months. It takes going back to November of 2007, a month before the Great Recession officially began, to find an unemployment rate that is close at 8.3 percent.
