Bad breakups, big promotion or just to dance, there is a song for every occasion and you can count on me to turn up the music no matter what might be on.
It is safe to say I am a self-proclaimed sports fanatic. Anyone who has read my tweets, blogs or columns can see how apparent that is. I just can’t get enough and, lucky for me, I can go anywhere and some type of sporting team, league or event isn’t too hard to find. Of course this wouldn’t be a ‘Tech Savvy’ column if I couldn’t share with you all the tremendous ways that technology has changed the game for fans and players alike. Apps offer a plethora of options for those who, like me, can’t get enough sports action.
O ne of my favorite pastimes as a child, and even now when I am with my nephews, was to go on a scavenger hunt. Making clues that take you all around as you look forward to the ultimate surprise prize that waits for you, it was one of the best games to play to get you moving. Now as I’ve grown up and times have changed, like usual, so has the way people do things — like scavenger hunt. Now it’s geocaching, which expanding hunts beyond just friends and family and out into the world.
