During Roundhouse Brewery's Oktoberfest kick-off festivities Brainerd Mayor Ed Menk (left) and Roundhouse co-owner and president Mark Lelwica raise their glasses for a German toast Thursday where local leaders helped tap Roundhouse's "Der Zug" Oktoberfest beer, which is German for the train. Also among those in attendance were Brainerd Lakes Chamber President Matt Kilian, Brainerd City Council President Gary Scheeler and Brainerd Fire Chief Tim Holmes. It's a German tradition to invite local dignitaries to Oktoberfest and in Munich to have the mayor tap the first keg.
