Yep, we're going to be looking at debunking some of the common myths that are out there, look at how you can do some spot checking on your own and, finally, touch on some basic safety tips that will help keep you safe while using technology. If you've been on Facebook this past week, it was really hard to miss.
Hey there Tech Savvy fans! This week we wrap up our look at grid down situations and some of the tech options we have to keep us connected, informed and safe during a disaster situation. The last few weeks we've taken a look at planning, and some devices that can keep us connected. For the most part the options we've looked at for devices would work well for individuals, families, or in a stretch - small businesses. This week we want to expand that to a larger scale and look at what it might take to keep a large business connected.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week is part three, and we'll wrap everything up next week with a little bit more of a business focus. This week I am able to give you another example of a personal, or small scale, mobile connectivity option.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week is part two of the disaster preparedness series we're doing and this week we are going to start taking a look at one of three pieces of gear that will help you, or your business, stay connected in a grid down situation. Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week we wrap up our tour of the latest LG devices courtesy of our friends at Verizon Wireless. Last week we got a look at the LG G4, a great device with great coverage, and this week we look at the beefed up version - the LG GPad. There are actually two version of the GPad, the 10.1 and the 8.3, as you can guess it has to do with what size the screen is. We got to take a look at the 8.3 version.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week we get to take a look at some cool devices courtesy of our friends at Verizon Wireless - the LG G4 and the LG GPad. LG has continued to be an often ignored player in the smartphone and tablet game. Companies like Motorola, Apple and Samsung sometimes dominate the conversation on items that should be hot or not. LG, for some reason, is overlooked, and they definitely deserve a second chance. You may recall last year I had a chance to review the LG G3, obviously the G4's predecessor, and it really took me by surprise.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week really feels like it's just dragging by. Summer is still in full swing, but we're at that sweet spot of the year where there is a little lull in the action so to speak. The Fourth of July is past; Nationals at BIR isn't here just yet; Lakes Jam, Moondance and We Fest have all passed, but it's still hot and definitely summer. It's just tough to get motivated to do anything at all.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week I wanted to share some information that was shared with me, and it's interesting how it can affect consumers both in what they can buy and sometimes how they run their business. The subject of Patent Trolls came up. The term originates from an Internet Troll, essentially someone who lies lurking, waiting for an opportunity to increase their personal gain at someone else's expense.
Hey there, Tech Savvy fans! This week we get to take a look at the first of a trio of products courtesy of our friends at Verizon Wireless. As you've noticed I'm always on the lookout for new peripherals and try to keep up with some of the newest gadgets to keep you up to date.
