Brainerd lakes area weather: Jan. 13
A cold front moved through the Northland this morning, so high temperatures today are going to colder than yesterday.
Expect highs ranging from the mid 20s in northwest Wisconsin to the low 20s and teens across northeast Minnesota.
A Canadian Clipper system will bring anywhere from a dusting to up to about 3 inches of snow for parts of the Northland tonight, mainly across the west and south. Even colder weather is expected for the middle of the week with highs in the upper single digits and teens Tuesday and Wednesday.
The next significant Clipper will come Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night, which could bring widespread snowfall totals of 2 to 4 inches to the Northland. Higher amounts are possible.
