The question of what is a tolerable length of hair for a Brainerd High school student is now under consideration by the school board. The matter came up when a boy and his parents said they lived in Denver and Minnetonka and his hair was accepted there, but not here.

A burglar was frightened away from a northside Brainerd home Sunday evening after he had half entered the home through a bedroom window. Awakened by the intruder, the householder switched on the light, sending the man running down the street.

W.J. Howatt, district manager for the Northwestern Telephone Exchange company, came up today to look after the rebuilding of the exchange. J.S. Moffatt, of the Western Electric Co., was here to look after putting in the switchboard for the telephone exchange.
