Both Little Falls teams take second at LP-GE CROSS COUNTRY
LONG PRAIRIE - Manon Gammon-Deering finished with a fourth-place time of 16:06.44 to lead the Little Falls Flyers girls' cross country to second at the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Invitational Monday.
The Flyers boys' team also placed second and was led by Eli Ploof's eight-place time of 18:07.97. Preston Zimny was ninth.
The Little Falls girls' and Mora tied with 53 points, but Mora's fifth runner beat out the Flyers' fifth runner for the difference.
Beth Hauer finished fifth and Kayla Meyer was ninth.
