Gwen Fredstrom
Gwen Fredstrom, 80, passed away on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
Gwen was born June 19, 1929. She graduated from Washington High School in 1949, went to Brainerd Junior College and St. Cloud State. She worked as a remedial reading teacher at Brainerd schools.
Gwen is survived by her four sons, Rory (Janice), Brainerd, Scott, Alaska, Mike, Alaska, and Judd (Rene), Roseau, Minn.; eight granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Warnberg, Brainerd, and Kay Johnson, Little Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy and Art; sister, Mary Ellen; and brother, Bill.
Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Mark Skinner officiating with lunch to follow. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are with the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Brainerd.
