Dispatch is looking for Feedback

The Brainerd Dispatch is looking for advice and feedback from its readers.

This daily newspaper has been on the receiving end of advice from members of the Brainerd Dispatch Advisory Board for 20 years now. The counsel we have received has been wide-ranging and spirited. The group that meets with Dispatch editors and its publisher every two months has been encouraging, emphatic and insightful.

Dispatch officials have learned a lot and we hope the advisory board members have learned a little about the challenges in producing news and advertising content for the printed page and our online Web site.

There is no political litmus test to join the group. One doesn't even have to be a fan of the newspaper. Primarily, we're looking for people who read the Brainerd Dispatch and who are involved in their communities. We do our best to balance the membership in terms of gender, age, geography and varying backgrounds. The group meets for lunch on the fourth Wednesday of every other month and members serve three-year terms.
