2 Rangers win titles
RUSH CITY - Crosby-Ironton's Hayden Zillmer and David Booth won titles as the Rangers placed seventh in the season-opening Rush City tournament Saturday.
Zillmer scored a technical fall against Cody Whitney of Mille Lacs in the 103-pound final.
At 152, Booth pinned Jake Hanson of Brooklyn Center/Concordia Academy in 5:09 for the championship.
The Rangers' Jesse Scott was runner-up at 189, getting pinned at 3:30 in the final by Bobby Kulhanek of Mille Lacs.

Three from area win titles
WADENA - Three area wrestlers won championships in Saturday's Wadena-Deer Creek Invite.
At 135 pounds, Nic Harrison of Pequot Lakes-Pine River-Backus beat Matt Hagen of Wadena-Deer Creek for the title.
Matt Moenkedick of Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale won the 171-pound title.
At 189, B-H/V's Wade Moenkedick was the champion.
Area runners-up were Darian Rubner of PLPRB at 140 and Amos Schmidt of BHV at 215.

Flyers fourth at Monticello
MONTICELLO - Frank Wilczek scored four victories at 103 pounds, Sam Marcus went 4-0 at 135 and Cody Bue was 4-0 at 160 to lead the Little Falls Flyers to a fourth-place finish at the Monticello Duals on Saturday.
Aaron Gastecki also had a perfect day for the Flyers, going 3-0.
