First Congregational United Church of Christ in Brainerd will observe its sesquicentennial anniversary with a “Summer of Celebration” that includes public events, such as a concert, a reunion, a celebratory service, a silent auction, and a party and a picnic in a park, and more.
At 1:30 p.m. March 14, the Lakes Area Unlimited Learning will celebrate that history and commemorate Brainerd’s sesquicentennial celebration (150 years) with a panel discussion on the past, present and future of Brainerd in the Forum Room at Crosby-Ironton High School.
