Area Boys Golf: Pierz 4th, Little Falls 6th at Granite Ridge Conference meet

SAUK RAPIDS — Logan Herold finished the second event of the Granite Ridge Conference Series in tenth place after he fired an 82 to help the Pierz Pioneers to a fourth-place finish Monday, May 2, at Wapicada Golf Club.

Lance Otremba shot an 86 for Pierz which was good for 15th place while Tyler Theis finished with an 89.

Nathan Boser paced the Little Falls Flyers with an 85 which put him in 14th place individually while the Flyers placed sixth as a team.

Hayden Johnson fired an 88 for the Flyers while Cullen Moe shot an 89.

Pillager competes at Ashby Quad

ELBOW LAKE — Brenden Brichacek carded a 90 and finished 12th overall for the Pillager Huskies as they finished fourth as a team at the Ashby Quad County Conference meet, Monday, May 2.

Drew Berent and Owen Pantzke each shot 93 for the Huskies and placed tied for 16th.

Team scores: West Central Area 322, Underwood 359, Border West 372, Pillager 376, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy 378, Rothsay 383, Ottertail Central 390, LPGE-Browerville 411, Ashby 434
