ALEXANDRIA — Staples-Motley’s Kyanna Burton finished 16th with a 19:25.9 run leading the Cardinal girls to a 10th-place team finish in the Lions Invitational Saturday, Oct. 9.
Pequot Lakes’ Calia Chaney followed closely in 17th with a 19:26 run to help bring the Patriot girls to a 15th team finish.
Cardinal Aften Robinson finished in 27th place with a 19:59.2 run, while Patriot Carly Chaney placed 29th with a 20:02.1 time.
The Little Falls Flyer girls placed 18th with their best coming from Ayla Anez in 39th.
The Staples-Motley boys placed 11th with a 28th-place individual finish from Issiah Tabatt who ran a 17:12.6 time.

Eli Hall of Pequot Lakes was 35th with a 17:22.7 run to help the Patriot boys to a 17th place team spot.
Little Falls’ Wyatt Baum ran a 17:47.8 time for 49th place to bring the Flyer boys to 24th.
