Area Cross-Country: Staples-Motley girls 2nd, boys 3rd

Staples-Motley cross-country in Minnewaska Wednesday, Sept. 8

MINNEWASKA — Kyanna Burton ran a second-place time of 19:21.07 for the Staples-Motley girls cross-country team in its second-place finish at the Minnewaska meet Wednesday, Sept. 8.

Isaiah Tabbat led the Cardinal boys with a 17:06.89 third-place finish. As a team, the Cardinal boys placed third.

Lyle Brownell finished fourth in 17:18.94 while Aften Robinson placed third in 19:32.65.
