Being one of five projects selected out of 14 that were submitted to Crow Wing County, the $288,330 project heads back to the county with Baxter’s approval.
The Crow Wing County Board Tuesday, March 8, agreed to allocate almost $1.23 million in American Rescue Plan Act dollars toward two broadband projects in the rural communities of Long Lake and Lake Edward townships.
The move is expected to boost the economic capacity of the region, more readily allowing for business growth and workforce development.
