Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Orthopedics Clinic welcomes orthopedic medicine specialist Katierae Herron

Katierae Herron, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics, is excited to further her career at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

“I’ve worked at Essentia for the last six years, ending that time as a charge nurse,” said Herron. “I always knew I wanted to stay at Essentia with the colleagues that have shown me support and guidance over the years on my journey to becoming a nurse practitioner.”

Herron received her education from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is happy to provide care for patients in the same Brainerd community she has called home for 22 years.

“I put my heart and mind into my patient’s care and, as a result, treat my patients and their families like they are my own,” said Herron.
