Shawnna Johnson now welcoming pediatric patients at Essentia Health St. Joseph’s-Baxter Clinic

The Essentia Health St. Joseph’s-Baxter Clinic is proud to announce Shawnna Johnson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is now welcoming pediatric patients.

“I have been a registered nurse at Essentia for nearly 20 years before I started my new role as a pediatric nurse practitioner,” said Johnson. “I am very excited to continue my career here in a setting that I love and a community I’m proud to call home.”

Johnson received her education from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

“I truly appreciate being a part of such an important time in your children’s lives,” said Johnson. “Being a parent and grandparent, I know how difficult parenting can be, and I am more than willing to help people navigate their concerns over the years.”
