The Westgate Mall is unveiling its new Playland with a grand opening beginning with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3.
There are incentives to be among the first at the event, including free Dairy Queen ice cream cones for the first 25 children, activities with the Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative and Dory.
Mall representatives reported the Alex and Brandon House is joining the event with games for the children.
