Roundhouse Brewery, at the Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd, plans to open its doors and its first six beer varieties Thursday.
Roundhouse reports its first six beers will be-Golden Spike Imperial IPA, Spike Drive Oatmeal
Stout, Cowcatcher California Ale, Crow Wing Cream Ale, Old Betsy Brown Ale, and Runaround Rye Ale.
"We are very thankful for the support of the local community in getting to this stage." said Mark Lelwica, co-owner and president, in a news release. "Our mission is to not only create high quality craft beers, but also to celebrate the rich history of Brainerd and the Northern Pacific Center. We plan to provide a fun and enjoyable setting where people can connect through conversation and laughter."
Roundhouse Brewery is owned by a group of local and out‐state‐investors.

The brewery will open for business from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Throughout May, Roundhouse plans to be open from 4-8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and expand hours from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays. Expectations are to expand hours and days of operation in June. A grand opening is planned in late May.
Brainerd Glass reports it is moving from Washington Street to northeast Brainerd next to Cub Foods at the East Brainerd Mall. The new address is 302 Fifth Ave. NE.
Brainerd-based Lakes Express was purchased by Executive Express out of St. Cloud.
The change was official Wednesday.
Executive Express is providing 16 daily shuttle trips to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport daily in more than 40 communities, including Brainerd and Baxter.
Executive Express reports it is celebrating 37 years of service and assists more than 70,000 passengers each year.
Von Hanson's Meats, Audubon Way, received approval from the city of Baxter to put in an accessory propane fill station at the edge of the parking lot along Highway 371. The 1,000-pound propane tank and weighing station is required to be screened with 6-foot tall pine trees and fenced.
