NISSWA-The Quarterdeck Resort's renovated Boathouse Event Center is now open to the public, P.J. Overvold, event coordinator announced.
Over 150 guests were present at the grand opening event that took place on June 6.
Quarterdeck Resort underwent extensive renovations throughout the winter. Renovations to the 4,000-square-foot Boathouse Event Center include new banquet tables and chairs, new flooring, restroom renovations, interior paint and décor, a new roof, and new landscaping, which features an outdoor brick paver event venue with gardens and pergola.
The indoor venue will accommodate 180 guests, with outdoor lakeview seating for 125. The lakeside lodge has six units with new reception and check-in desk. Th
"Quarterdeck Resort is a hidden gem for weddings, anniversaries, business functions, and family reunions due to the location on the west side of Gull Lake and fabulous vistas of the lake," Overvold said in a news release. "Word has certainly gotten out about the Boathouse Event Center. We have numerous weddings booked for this summer, as well as some already reserved for 2018.

Quarterdeck Resort is a boutique four-seasons resort located in Nisswa. Situated on the west shore of Gull Lake, the resort features 27 acres with nearly 850 feet of sandy beach.
Quarterdeck offers lodge suites and three new 3,000-square-foot lakeside cottages with room for 10 guests.
