Business After Hours set in Deerwood
DEERWOOD-Join the Deerstand for Business After Hours 5-7 p.m. April 20 at 24188 Mohs St., Deerwood.
Business after Hours is a Cuyuna Lakes Chamber function for members of the business community and is also open to the public, so bring your business cards and get ready to network and build relationships while you enjoy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and raffle prizes.

Ruttger's to host job fair
DEERWOOD-Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge will host a job fair from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 28 at the resort's main lodge.
Ruttger's will be interviewing and hiring for all positions at the resort for the 2017 season, including: food servers, housekeeping, activities/marina staff, front desk, host/hostess, groundskeeping, golf staff, golf grounds, food preparation, cooks, bakers and more.
All full-time and part-time employees receive benefits including free golf for the employee and one guest, food and beverage discounts and free use of the resort's pools, beaches and tennis courts.
Ruttger's employs more than 300 people during the season, making it one of the bigger employers in the area.

Social Security workshop set in Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS-Thrivent Financial is hosting a free educational workshop on Social Security. This workshop has been updated to reflect recent Federal legislation. It is designed for people trying to decide when, and how, to start taking their Social Security benefit.
Called "Social Security: Strategize to Maximize," this one-hour workshop is planned at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Little Falls Senior Center, 510 Seventh St. NE, Little Falls.
