<p>Minnesota Mule of Crosby was recently awarded a gold medal in an international bloody Mary competition.</p><p>Owner Robert Sobotta said the competition&mdash;2018 Drunken Tomato Awards&mdash;consisted of businesses mailing their products to a panel of expert bloody Mary judges. Sobotta said he was awarded the gold medal in the bold and zesty category for the dry bloody Mary mix. Judges applauded his product because of the ease of use and the bold flavor of the dry bloody Mary mix, Sobotta said.</p><p>There were 52 entries in the competition.</p><p>Sobotta will compete next April 22 in the Bloody Mary Festival at the Union Depot in St. Paul.</p><p>Minnesota Mule products are available online.</p>
