Grand View Lodge ranked among top resorts in the Midwest

NISSWA – Grand View Lodge, Spa and Golf Resort noted it received significant recognitions this month in two leading national publications as Condé Nast Traveler announced its 32nd annual Readers’ Choice Awards poll, ranking Grand View Lodge as the No. 3 resort in the Midwest.

Grand View Lodge is the only Minnesota property to make the list, and this is the fifth consecutive year the resort has been featured on this highly selective list. Grand View Lodge’s landscaped and much photographed walkway from the lodge to the lake is featured on Conde Nast’s Traveler website announcing the Top 5 resorts in the Midwest. The Top 5 list includes two resorts in Michigan, Grand Hotel and Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa, and two in Wisconsin, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and The Osthoff Resort.

Nisswa-based Cote Family Destinations’ second resort property, Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Ariz., was also named to the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards as the No. 5 resort in the Southwest and Texas.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most acclaimed recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” A record-setting 600,000 dedicated readers cast their votes for this year’s best cities, islands, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, and airports, resulting in this list of the very best travel experiences in the world. Of the 10,000 nominees, 15% made the cut.

Furthermore, Golf Magazine published its inaugural Top 100 Resorts 2019 list. Grand View Lodge received a noteworthy ranking in the category of best golf resorts for families, recognized for its golf courses, as well as other year-round amenities.
