Attend a free March 25 event to learn about electric vehicles and how they perform in central Minnesota. Attendees will hear from electric vehicle owners and are welcome to bring their questions. Owners at the event will include Jeff Riegle, owner of a 2016 Nissan LEAF, and Jessee Holmes, owner of a Tesla Model S.
"There are a lot of exciting things happening here in Minnesota," says Joel Haskard, co-director of the Clean Energy Resource Teams, in a news release. "There are many more plug-in vehicle choices since even last year and the first affordable battery electric vehicles with over 200-mile range will be available in Minnesota this fall. The future of transportation may indeed be electrified."
The Clean Energy Resource Teams-or CERTs-are a statewide partnership with a shared mission to connect individuals and their communities to the resources they need to identify and implement community-based clean energy projects. CERTs empowers communities to adopt energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies and practices for homes, businesses and local institutions.
