WASHINGTON, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Technical Consumer Products Inc is recalling about 26,000 LED lightbulbs because of the threat of electric shock in wet circumstances, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Tuesday.

The recall by the Aurora, Ohio, company involves 14-watt LED PAR38 bulbs, the commission said in a statement. They were sold under the TCP and Great Value brand names.

Technical Consumer is pulling about 25,000 lightbulbs in the United States and 1,350 in Canada because water can enter them "in wet location applications," creating a shock hazard, the panel said.

There have been no reports of injuries or incidents. They were sold at Walmart and electrical distributors from May 2015 through October 2015 for about $20, the statement said.
