Crow Wing Cabinets Inc. of Brainerd is a winner in three categories judged in the Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) annual national awards program.

"This annual contest is judged by a double blind panel of industry peers to promote and acknowledge our member's top notch projects," said Dave Grulke, the CMA's executive director in a news release. "With over 50 projects and the CMA members behind them being recognized for their extraordinary talents, it's both humbling and inspiring to see the levels of style and execution from this group of world class shops.

The three prestigious awards that they have garnered this year demonstrates a consistent commitment to delivering the highest quality products and services to their clients."

Winning entries were recognized at a press conference at the IWF show in Atlanta. Crow Wing Cabinets Inc. received two first and one second place awards.

Their award categories included Library - Face Frame - Under $25,000, Residential Bar - Face Frame - Over $25,000, Kitchen - Face Frame - Over $25,000.

The library used knotty alder. Crow Wing Cabinets reported the customer wanted a large area for storing books, as well as a feeling of an old library that still fit the overall feeling of the large rustic lodge house. The library fireplace surround is a raised panel knotty alder with file drawers included and TV mount.

Crow Wing Cabinets Inc. has been serving the Brainerd Lakes Area since 1992 and specializes in residential custom cabinetry and countertop options.
