More stores offer Black Friday early deals

Retailers continue to make the holiday shopping experience easier, faster and with multiple options for pickup or delivery for this altered Black Friday season.

Costco

Holiday deals at Costco started Nov. 5. “With online shopping at an all-time high this year, delivery times are expected to be longer than usual this holiday. Shop early to avoid potential shipping delays!” the company reports on its website.

Online and warehouse savings are slated Nov. 20-30 with select savings starting online Nov. 26 and online and in the warehouse Nov. 27-30. Thanksgiving day online savings include deals on TVs, appliances, surround sound systems, clothing and laptops.

Online only deals on Nov. 26 include a $320 standup paddle board and a $400 Dyson cordless stick vacuum among other products, with savings on Apple products, a gaming monitor, TVs, earbuds, Fitbit Versa and Sense smart watches, Nintendo Switch bundle and more.

Dunham’s

Dunham’s in Baxter has pre-Black Friday savings up to 50% off Nov. 20-21 with a focus on health and fitness equipment and entertainment like foosball tables and a ring-enclosed trampoline as well as kayaks and a ping-pong table.

Fleet Farm

Toyland opened Oct. 12 continuing a tradition started in 1957. Fleet Farm currently has online Thanksgiving deals starting Nov. 20 and going through Nov. 25 for a Thanksgiving sale.

Gander Outdoors

Gander Outdoors is offering in-store and online Black Friday deals all month with items on the website including a clothes washer/dryer combo for $1,170, a portable buddy heater for $87 among a host of other items from art to melamine camping plates and bowls.

Game Stop

Game Stop reports its Black Friday countdown between Nov. 14-21 with Black Friday early deals in stores and online Nov. 22-25 and Black Friday deals online as of 8 p.m. Nov. 25 and in stores beginning at 7 a.m.

Home Depot

“As we buy face masks to match our ugly sweaters and practice physical distancing with our neighbors, it’s clear the holidays are beginning to look a little different this year,” Home Depot reported in its news release for holiday shopping. “To help them feel festive, The Home Depot is improving the shopping experience to keep spirits high and stress down at a time when staying safe needs to be as effortless as possible.”

Home Depot is among a host of retailers “reinventing holiday shopping” this year.

Like other retailers, Home Depot has a product locator feature on its app so shoppers can check to see if their desired item is in the Baxter store or to set up an in-store pickup. This season there are 1 million items set up for home delivery options.

“Order fresh cut trees with no shipping fee on homedepot.com and they’ll arrive directly to your doorstep,” the company reported

Black Friday deals began Nov. 6 and are continuing throughout the season.

Menards

Black Friday plans with more details are expected Nov. 23 with doors opening for shoppers as of 6 a.m. Nov. 27.

Sears

Sears also has Black Friday deals and the website is designed to focus on the inventory of appliances and tools the local store in Brainerd provides to “make shopping quick and easy for you.” The company campaign lists “Small Town Big Holiday Savings.”
