The Minnesota Cottage Food Producers Association will host a gathering in the pavilion at Gregory Park Saturday, July 17.

The 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. event will celebrate how far cottage food has come in Minnesota since the original cottage food law became law in 2015. This legislative session the organization worked to improve the law and as of Aug. 1, cottage food producers will have the ability to make up to $78,000 per year as a Tier II producer, produce non-potentially hazardous pet food treats and have the ability to form an LLC.

The event is the first-ever gathering of the organization and organizers stated they are expecting 40 to 60 people.
