The Pine River area welcomes a multitude of year-round visitors each year. And it’s easy to understand what draws so many tourists to our region, especially the natural setting and rich natural resources, including 435 lakes that surround a 35-mile radius of Pine River.

The area hosts many annual events in all seasons, including Summerfest, Lakes Bluegrass Festival and Cass County Fair in the height of summer, Fall Festival in autumn, the Parade of Lights to welcome winter, and a popular farmers market to celebrate spring.

Stop by our Pine River Chamber Information Center, open year-round and located along the Paul Bunyan Trail in downtown Pine River just off Highway 371 at the stoplights. The center provides maps and brochures about the area, and has public restrooms. We have historical information and publications dedicated to fishing, biking and golfing. Plus we offer maps for public accesses, state trails and parks, and ATV and motorcycle routes.
