VIRGINIA — Addie Sanford tallied six hits including two home runs, a triple and seven RBIs over two games as the Central Lakes College Raiders sweep Mesabi Range 16-1 and 21-9 Sunday, May 8.
In Game One, Sanford and Brooke Corrigan each had three-hit games with a home run. Corrigan finished with three RBIs.
Halle Zupan also tallied three hits in the Game One win.
Zakia Herron went 2-3 with a double as did Chloe Munsch.
Sanford pitched all five innings and struck out three.

In Game Two, Sanford went 3-5 with six RBIs including a home run and a triple.
Corrigan went 3-3 with two RBIs in the Game Two. Herron and Zupan eached added Game Two doubles.
Cassidy Zontelli, Sarah Kossan and Sydnee Johnson all had multi-hit games in the Game Two.
Marissa Callahan pitched all five innings and struck out three.

ITASCA — Marissa Callahan pitched all 11 innings and allowed three earned runs and struck out seven in a Central Lakes College Raiders Game Two 6-5 victory over the Itasca Vikings to finish off the sweep after defeating the Vikings 9-1 in Game One Saturday, May 7.
Cassidy Zontelli was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs for the Raiders in the Game One win.
Victoria Wagner pitched a complete game and got the win as she went six innings and struck out five while scattering seven hits and allowing one earned run for CLC.

Halle Zupan went 2-3 with a home run and two RBIs while Zakia Herron and Brooke Corrigan each recorded two runs and two hits.
Sarah Kossan was 5-6 in Game Two as the Raiders tied the game in the top of the sixth and neither team scored until the Raiders scored a run in the top of the 11th.
Rebecca Maurer and Zakia Herron each tallied three hits for the Raiders in Game Two as they finished with 21 hits as a team.
Addie Sanford, Sydnee Johnson, Halle Zupan and Cassidy Zontelli each recorded two hits for the Raiders.
