The Brainerd Lakes Area Drug Education, or BLADE, invited people to join a COVID-19 virtual community forum 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, which will be livestreamed.
The forum via Crow Wing County’s official YouTube channel will offer four perspectives on substance abuse and recovery resources in the Brainerd lakes area. In a news release, organizers said substance abuse is often triggered things like depression, anxiety, hopelessness and other life-altering events such as the coronavirus pandemic.
The panelists will include an Essentia Health nurse practitioner, a Crow Wing County social worker, a parent or community member and a county drug court officer.
