Coming Monday: Come fly with me

In 1945, the city of Brainerd purchased about 900 acres on what became Highway 210 for what would become Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport. But before that, Henry Rosko housed the first airfield in the region, according to airport officials.

Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport wasn’t the first site where planes left and arrived in the Brainerd lakes area.
