Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club meeting planned

BAXTER -- The Pinetree Patchworkers Quilt Club will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter.

A short presentation by Gail Belmont, national head of Quilts of Honor, will open the meeting. The remainder of the meeting will be a review and discussion of our recent quilt show.

Brainerd Elks Lodge breakfast set

Brainerd Elks Lodge No. 615, 215 S. Ninth St., will host a community breakfast 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 7.

Order from a menu that includes eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, omelets and hash browns plus Doug Johnson’s caramel rolls.

All proceeds support Elks youth and veteran programs.

North Pine Investors monthly meeting set

CROSSLAKE -- North Pine Investors will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at the Crosslake Community Center.

The mission of this partnership is to educate and strengthen the partners’ understanding of investing and gain hands-on experience in analyzing stocks and interpreting financial statements.

Partners invest $30 each month for stock purchases.
