The Brainerd High School Class of 1970 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at The Sidetrack.

Nisswa Women’s Club meeting planned

The Nisswa Women’s Club will have its monthly luncheon and meeting Thursday, July 18, at Drummond Winery.

Social time begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch being served at noon.

IRONTON -- The C-I Class of 1958 will meet at noon Wednesday, July 17, at the Ironton Legion.

The Past Commanders’ dinner meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Washington High School Class of 1965 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Ernie’s on Gull Lake.

Nisswa Garden Club to have A Festival of Tables event

NISSWA -- The Nisswa Garden Club will have its annual A Festival of Tables event July 25 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, County Road 13, Nisswa.

Club members created unique and lively themed garden tables for display. The event is open to the public and free of charge to view the tables and to vote for your favorites from 10 a.m. to noon. There will also be displays of potted plants, flowers and vegetables that club members have grown.

At 12:30 p.m., a buffet lunch will be served by reservation only. To reserve tickets, contact Barb Bogdanovich, event coordinator, at 218-330-6661. Cost is $35.

Ray’s Promenaders to square dance

Ray's Promenaders will dance at the Senior Center Friday, July 19., with Jim Lizakowski calling Plus at 7:30 p.m. and Mainstream 8-10 p.m.

Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary No. 202 to serve breakfast

HACKENSACK -- Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 21, at the club.

Menu includes choice of biscuits and gravy with eggs or French toast with eggs and bacon. Both include juice and coffee for $6.

The proceeds go to support youth scholarships.
