Area Easter egg hunts on tap Saturday

Area communities will host the following Easter egg hunts for children Saturday, April 20.

Pine River: A community Easter egg hunt for children ages 12 and younger will be held at 10 a.m. at Forbes Park in Pine River, sponsored by Pine River-Backus area churches and businesses.

Pequot Lakes: An outdoor community Easter egg hunt for children ages 12 and younger will be at 10 a.m. at the Trailside Center at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church. Groups will be separated to ages 0-3, 4-8 and 9-12. Register by 9:45 a.m. Starting indoors at 9 a.m., there will be a craft to make, cookies and coffee, and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny.

Nisswa: The Nisswa American Legion will host its annual Children's Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. for children ages 10 and under. For information, contact Carol at 218-330-1221 or gaming@nisswalegion.com.

Lake Shore: Lake Shore will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Fritz Loven Park.

Emily: The Lions of Emily, Outing and Fifty Lakes will host an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Emily City Hall for children ages 2-10. Bring a bag or basket for the eggs.
